The highlight of the Ulefone Vienna is undoubtedly its independent HiFi chipset – the NXP Smart Audio PA – which packs both DAC and an operational amplifier. The Vienna's audio system will have a frequency response range from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, covering all the sound frequencies audible to human ears. The 109db high SNR and <0.01% low THD are said to ensure users will receive a pure audio experience.
Among the main specs, Ulefone stressed that the Vienna will be equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p LTPS display from Sharp and 32 GB of onboard storage, comfortably accommodating high-quality music files. Other specs include a MTK6753 8-core 64-bit chipset, 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 13 MP Panasonic MN34172 camera with dual flash, and a 3,250-mAh Sony li-polymer battery.

The Ulefone Vienna’s fingerprint scanner will support recognition of up to five different fingerprints, a physical key under the power button can be used to start the camera and voice recorder apps, and the infrared blaster will enable you to control home appliances with remote control apps.

Ulefone is not exactly the most popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, but this company has introduced a number of devices in the last year or so, and are trying to appeal to consumers with low prices and well-looking phones. We’ve talked about the Ulefone Future recently, the company’s bezel-less handset, and have reviewed quite a few Ulefone-branded smartphones thus far. Well, the company has introduced yet another phone recently, so let’s see what it has to offer, shall we.
This phone is called Ulefone Vienna, it is made out of metal, and a rather solid set of specs. The device features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) LTPS display, along with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this phone, and a 3,250mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel snapper (Panasonic’s MN34172 sensor) is placed on the back of the device, along with a dual-LED flash. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the Ulefone Vienna, and the device also sports three capacitive buttons which are located below its display, as you can see in the provided images. Ulefone has built in a HiFi NXP Smart Audio PA chip here, which packs DAC and an operational amplifier, which should, essentially, improve the audio output. The IR blaster is also available here, and Ulefone actually opted to include a non-standard physical key here as well. If you take a look at the left side of the device, you will notice a physical button which is not meant to be a power / lock, nor a volume rocker. Well, that button can be used to start the camera or voice recording on this device, though it definitely looks like a power button. Above that physical key, you will notice the SIM tray which is able to take two SIM card slots. The Ulefone Vienna measures 153.5 x 77.85 x 8.6mm, while it weighs 156 grams.
That is pretty much it as far as specifications go. The Ulefone Vienna will be available in Black, White, Grey and Pink color options, all of which you can check out in the gallery down below. We still don’t know when will this device going to be available, nor how much will it cost, but you can expect Ulefone to release such info soon.
