Elephone S7

Elephone S7 : Next Generation Smartphone 2016

It is bad news for a company when they hear product reviewers say that the product is a replica of another trendsetter. How does a cell phone maker follow the lead? How do they maintain their uniqueness and sell it to the public despite the negativity surrounding it?
Such is the case of Elephone’s newest model S7, named after the widely known Samsung Galaxy S7, of course. Reviews have been nothing but criticizing this stunning phone for its sheer similarities with the biggest contender in the Asian markets, Samsung. But is it that similar altogether, or are there any differences to it? Did the Makers of Elephone S7 copy more than just the smooth curved design from Galaxy S7?
In this article, we are going to elaborate the pros and cons of Elephone S7, and finally, hands-on Elephone S7 review as well. Let’s find out.
  • Display – 5.2 Inches (called S7 Mini) & 5.5 Inches Full HD Screen
  • Camera – 16 MP Rear and 8 MP Front
  • CPU Configuration – S7 Mini has MediaTek’s MT6737T 64-bit quad-core processor & Mali T720 MP2 GPU; S7 is powered by Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor
  • Memory – S7 Mini 2GB RAM/32GB ROM & S7 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB / 64GB
  • Connectivity – 4G LTE; FDD- LTE: B1/B3/B7/B20 (2100/1800/2600/800) & TDD-LTE:B38/B40 (2600/2300)
  • Operating System – Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The face of this phone is simply the best part in my opinion. It looks sleek, delicate and the screen seems to cover all of the phones especially regarding width. On the top of the display, you have an earpiece, a microphone & a front 8 MP camera. Under the screen is the typical Home Button. On the back you will find a circular shaped camera to the right and next to it is the flashlight. The top has a 3.5mm headphone jack only.On the Bottom, you see speakers on either side and in the middle is a lightning charge.A long unilateral volume controller lies conveniently on the right and under it is the power button. These are blended into the body of the phone and do not make holding the device any uncomfortable. The left-hand side consists of a SIM tray that can accommodate Dual SIM.The designing team of Elephone S7 had no problem copying Galaxy S7 Edge, to the bone. This is why it’s called a ‘look-alike’ of latter. The body has a metallic and glass finishing with neatly curved edges. What it lacks however are the raised edges for when you keep your phone face down, there is nothing to protect the device’s smooth glass screen from being scratched.Same goes for the backside, which is so smooth and a sheer work of metallic beauty but offers no support in any form regarding device protection, so a Glass protector for the front and a phone protector from the rear are a must with this phone.
The phone makers have released this stunning model in two different sizes, 5.2 Inches, and 5.5 Inches but both the handsets have been perfected with care when it comes to a few key display features.
  • Elephone S7 wins in the Department of color temperature adjustment, video frame adjustment that lets you experience the pleasure of watching videos on the device without hurting your eyes. And it comes equipped with a light sensor that can increase or decrease the light intensity depending on the user surroundings.
  • Three finger slide performs a screenshot while a two finger slide adjusts the volume, isn’t that cool?
  • ‘Settings’ at your fingertips through shortcut functionality.
  • Three power-saving modes to enhance S7 performance, high-performance, balance & low-power mode.
  • Allows screen splitting.

The device is powered by a disappointing 2600mAh which means less time in your hands and more time connected to a charging dock. With such high-performance delivery and the auto backlight adjustments, you would expect the battery to last longer than a day. But, it isn’t entirely possible with this unit at least.Elephone S7 comes with great features such as GPRS, Edge, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and USB. Also, a fingerprint scanner is placed under the Home Button which is common for most smartphones produced these days.

Pros

  • High-performing processors
  • Great Graphics Card
  • Varied Options for RAM
  • Reliable Camera
  • Dual Speakers
  • Affordable Price
  • Amazing display with 1080 Full HD

Cons

  • Poor Battery
  • Resemblance to Galaxy S7

Xiaomi MI Mix

Smartphone design has stagnated. If you're using Apple as a measuring stick for the industry, we're going to have three years of iPhones that use an identical case design. If you're going by Samsung, the company hasn't tweaked its front design since the Galaxy S5 in 2014. Google just produced its first self-branded smartphone hardware ever, and it didn't have anything significant to say when it comes to smartphone design either.
Not everyone in the industry seems so content with the status quo, though. For a different take on smartphone design, we look to China, where Xiaomi has just introduced a phone with a jaw-dropping design that maximizes screen real estate above all else. The Xiaomi Mi Mix is the company's look at "the future of smartphones." While it's being called a "concept phone," it's actually for sale for the shockingly low price of $516. Forget about buying it, though—Xiaomi is selling the Mi Mix in Chinaonly. Even if you could pay a premium to import it, it sadly lacks important LTE bands for service in the US.
Still... just look at that design! The Mi Mix looks like one of those incredibly unrealistic fan renders, but it's a real phone I was able to spend the last week with. There have been tons of questions about the practicality of something like this and what tradeoffs are involved. Is all-screen actually a good idea? More importantly, is this really the future of smartphones ?

One Plus 3T

Image result for one plus 3t
OnePlus on Tuesday unveiled an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 – the OnePlus 3T. The only differences between the two smartphones are a faster SoC, increased storage, an improved front camera, and a larger battery. The 64GB model has been priced at GBP 399 (roughly Rs. 33,700), EUR 439 (roughly Rs. 31,200), and USD 439 (roughly Rs. 29,800), while the 128GB model has been priced at GBP 439 (roughly Rs. 37,100), EUR 479 (roughly Rs. 34,800), and USD 479

The One Plus 3T will be available in the US from November 22, in Europe from November 26, and in the UK from November 28. To recall, the company had revealed India pricing and availability details at the  global launch. However, this time, no India details were revealed alongside. It will be available in Gunmetal (not Graphite) and Soft Gold colour variants, with the latter being made available shortly after launch. The company also announced that a new OxygenOs  build based on Android 7.0 will be released for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T at the same time before the end of this year, and going forward, the two smartphones will receive updates simultaneously.

Getting to the exact differences between the OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 3 - the newly launched smartphone sports a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC (two cores clocked at 1.6GHz and two cores clocked at 2.35GHz) compared to the Snapdragon 820 SoC on the original. It comes in both 64GB and 128GB storage models, compared to just a 64GB model on the OnePlus 3.

As for the improved front camera, 1+ has doubled the resolution of the front camera from 8-megapixel on the OnePlus 3 to 16-megapixel on the OnePlus 3T – whilst also switching sensors from the Sony IMX179 with 1.4-micron pixels to the Samsung 3P8SP with 1-micron pixels. It also gets PDAF autofocus, rather than just a fixed focus setup.

Finally, the OnePlus 3T gets a larger 3400mAh battery compared to the 3000mAh offering on the OnePlus 3. It once again supports Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging technology.

Everything else about the two smartphones is identical. The OnePlus 3T bears the same anodised aluminium metal unibody design, the same fingerprint sensor on the home button, and the same Alert Slider apart from capacitive hardware keys. It also comes with the same USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The SoC is coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 3T include 4G LTE (with support for India's LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS/ A-GPS. It bears the same measurements as the OnePlus 3 at 152.7x74.7x7.35mm, and the same weight at 158 grams.

ASUS ZenFone 4.5

GearBest: Pick Up The 5000 mAh ASUS ZenFone Max For Only $141

By any standards, ASUS is a company who knows how to make a good smartphone. Just as importantly, they are also a company who knows how to make an affordable smartphone and 2015 saw ASUS introduce their ZenFone 2. Which proved to be an extremely popular option and largely thanks to the ZenFone 2 sporting flagship smartphone specs, but not a flagship smartphone price. Since then the company has released a number of variants of the ZenFone 2 which although all adopt a similar design language, do come with specific selling points. The ASUS ZenFone Max being a prime example with its increased battery life.
In terms of the specs, the ASUS ZenFone Max comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display which makes use of a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside, the ASUS ZenFone Max comes equipped with 2GB RAM and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor (clocking at 1.2 GHz). In terms of storage, this is a smartphone which does only come with 16GB internal storage, although it is a smartphone which offers storage-expansion thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot (up to 64GB). Moving to the camera side of things and the ASUS ZenFone Max comes loaded with a 13-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Of course, one of the big (literally) selling points and the reason for its “Max” name is that this is a smartphone which comes powered by a 5,000 mAh capacity battery. While it is a non-removable battery, with this sort of capacity, there should not be too many battery issues to worry about. The software experience on offer comes in the form of Android 5.0 (Lollipop) which is overlaid with the company’s own Zen UI 2.0. Additional features include dual-SIM support and 4G LTE support. In terms of the network compatibility, the ASUS ZenFone Max is listed to work on 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz and 4G: FDD-LTE 1800/2100 MHz.
While the specs might not be anything too amazing on paper, the battery life on offer is a clear winner and will be an ideal solution for those looking for an affordable handset and one which will easily maintain a charge throughout the day. In terms of the price and just to highlight how much battery capacity you are getting for your money, this is a smartphone which can be currently purchased through GearBest for only $141.40. For a smartphone which comes equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and priced at under $150, this is a smartphone worth considering. Head through the link below to find out more.

Gionee Marathon M5 Plus likely to be priced at Rs 26,999: Specifications and features

By Maitrayee Iyer on Apr 27, 2016 at 9:00 PM Email @maitrayee94 comments Tags: gionee Gionee Marathon M5 plus News gionee-marathon-m5-plus-launched-china
Back in December 2015, Gionee launched the Marathon M5 Plus in China and now it seems to be preparing for its India launch. The company hasn’t made any official announcement yet, and the phone isn’t listed on the company’s website either but Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telcom says the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus will hit Indian stores very soon with a price tag of Rs 26,999.
The Marathon M5 Plus’ talking point is again the massive 5,020mAh battery and VoLTE and 4G support. Another talking point is the fingerprint scanner incorporated into the physical home button up front.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus specifications and features: The phablet flaunts a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920) pixels AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The Marathon M5 Plus also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phablet has a 5,020mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Amigo 3.1 UI.
The Gionee Marathon M5, in comparison, was launched in India for Rs 17,999. It features a 5.5-inch 720p AMOLED display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot to expand it. The smartphone is powered by an even bigger 6,020mAh battery.

The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based on Amigo 3.1 UI.
Looking at the specification and features that the Marathon M5 Plus has to offer, the smartphone is likely to face tough competition in the likes of QiKU Q Terra and Lenovo Vibe X3 both of which are priced under Rs 20,000.
The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus surely is a good option in terms of its specifications, but the Rs 26,999 seems to be a lot considering you have much better phones at much lesser price. Let us know what do you think in the comment section below.

Our new smiling logo and tagline "Make Smiles" simply expresses it and invites everyone to engage with Gionee and include the brand in the delightful moments of their lives. We are excited that we were able to use Team KKR to unveil our new logo as they provide many of us a reason to smile each time they play. I am sure that the new TVC would convey the same passion, energy and joy that the brand stands for."
The film begins with the KKR team players waiting for their new jerseys to arrive from the dealer. In the interim, the team is seen discussing what new elements would be present on the jersey including a new logo of Gionee. Just then the delivery man arrives and delivers the package to the players who try on their respective jerseys with much joy. On seeing the new logo that signifies a smiling face, the team captain Gautam Gambhir goes on to exclaim that 'Gautam would no longer be Gambhir' after wearing this jersey.
Sharing his views on the brief received by the client for the rebranding exercise, Syed Amjad Ali, executive director, Mullen Lintas said, "Gionee is going through an exciting phase and is articulating its next level of growth. The new logo change signals that ambition. The role of the campaign was to create familiarity with the new identity and what it would stand for in future. We intend to make Gionee one of the most sought after brands in the country, something that people aspire for and this is just the beginning."
Added Shriram Iyer, NCD, Mullen Lintas added, "The task of unveiling the new Gionee logo coupled with the brands association with team KKR allowed us to put the jersey to good use. The idea of a last minute change in the logo leads to a funny misunderstanding among the players. We are excited about this very unconventional way to launch a new identity."
The film has been directed by Shayondeep Pal from Elements and has been launched 'on and offline' to coincide with the ongoing IPL season.

    iMAN i3

iMAN i3 Rugged Smartphone – full review and hands on

iMAN i3It is an almost inevitable fact that if you own a smartphone you are going to drop it, and if you are like me when I drop my phone it normally lands in the worst possible place. One of the new features that has started to appear in flagship devices is a level of water resistance. This is a great feature which adds an extra level of reassurance, especially if you are prone to dropping your phone in the toilet!
    iMAN i3 in Toilet
But what if you need more? What if you spend much of your time outdoors? You might need something more rugged. There are quite a few different rugged smartphones on the market including the iMAN i3. The iMAN i3 is a 4.3 inch, quad-core device with an IP68 waterproof rating.
    Specification
Beneath the ruggedized exterior of the i3 you get a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a 4.3 inch qHD display (960×540). Here is a look at the rest of the specs:
Display 4.3-inch IPS qHD (960 x 540) Processor 1.5GHz MT6589 Quad Core GPU PowerVR SGX 544MP RAM 1GB Storage 16GB, microSD card slot, up to 32GB Camera 13 Megapixel Rear Camera & 2 Megapixel Front-Facing Camera Battery 2000 mAh Connectivity GPS, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth Networks 3G/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz Software Android 4.2 with Google Play Dimensions 138x 72x 13 mm199 grams Colors Black SIM slots 1x WCDM/GSM, 1x GSM Design
The i3 is all about its rugged design. Everything else is secondary. The phone doesn’t try to be elegant, but rather chooses to show off its hardened exterior. The case is made of a combination of hard rubber and thick plastic.
The phone has capacitive keys just below the display and above the prominent iMAN logo. Just above the display is a fairly standard arrangement for the front facing camera, notification LED and ear piece. All the buttons around the side are completely sealed by a rubber skin, obviously for waterproofing. On the left-hand side are the volume controls, the power button and the micro USB port. The latter has a stiff plug/cover which pops into the port to protect it from water. The port seems to be a little deeper than on other phones and when I tried a normal USB cable the connector didn’t fully make contact. The supplied cable works fine but to my eyes it looks a bit longer. This isn’t a problem, but something worth noting if you ever need to buy a replace lead.
On the right-hand side are two extra buttons. One is the torch button which switches on the camera’s LED. The other is a SOS button which can be configured in software to either send a text message to an emergency contact, or flash a Morse-code message on the LED.
At the very top is the 3.5 headphone jack which is protected by a plug like the micro USB port. The battery cover on the back is secured in place using two screws which allows the device to remain water tight. Under the cover you will find the battery, two SIM slots and the micro SD card slot. All are easily accessible once you take the battery cover off with the supplied mini-screwdriver.
Another interesting feature of the i3 is that it has built-in wireless charging capabilities and the phone ships with its own charging pad. The idea is that you won’t need to keep unstopping the micro USB port to charge the device, instead you just pop it onto the mat and  let the wireless charging tech work its magic.
    Rugged
The iMAN i3 sports IP68 water resistance. IP68 means complete protection against dust and water resistance beyond 1m.
As you can see from the photos below I submerged, buried and generally tortured the device. Some of the shots are simulations (I didn’t roll over the device with my car), but all the water and mud is real.
After all this meanness, I am happy to report that the device continued functioning normally. However at some point a little bit of muddy water did get into the display. As a result when the phone is held in direct sunlight the water vaporizes and leaves a muddy mist on the screen. The amount of water is probably minuscule and if I were to partially disassemble the phone it could probably be cleaned off the glass. Another minor wound from my maltreatment of the device was a small scratch on the screen. It was probably the sand that did it!
It is likely that I pushed the device too far in my photo shoot, hence its minor injuries. In terms of protection against the accidental exposure to water and mud, the i3 will probably resist like a champ.
    Performance
The iMAN i3 uses a quad-core MediaTek MTK6589T processor with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It scores 17,785 on AnTuTu. Putting that into some context, it means that AnTuTu ranks this handset as just slightly slower than a Samsung Galaxy S3. More than sufficient for a phone that you would buy primarily for its hardened shell.
A quick test using Epic Citadel showed that the iMAN i3 can manage an average of 42.5 frames per second at 960 x 544 in high performance mode, 42.1 in high quality mode, and 35.6 in ultra high quality mode. These aren’t the best numbers around, but sufficient to get the job done.
    iMAN i3 epic citadel
As for the Wi-Fi and GPS performance. The Wi-Fi worked very well and I had no trouble getting a signal even in the partially dead spots around my house. The GPS works OK, but it did take a couple of minutes for the phone to make get its initial lock.
    Battery
The battery in the iMAN i3 is a 2000mAh unit. I ran a few battery tests and the results seem on-par with other quad-core devices with a similar sized battery. For 3D gaming I used Epic Citadel to discover that the i3 can handle about 3 hours of intensive 3D graphics on one charge. You can watch locally stored MP4 videos for around 5.5 hours on one charge, while YouTube streaming over Wi-Fi lasts about 4 hours.
    Camera
The device has a 13MP camera which, if megapixels are anything to go by, should yield some nice results. However using the camera was a bit of mixed bag. In bright light the photos can become washed out and sometimes it seemed that the camera had trouble focusing. But having said that, if you are careful you can take some reasonable shots.
Here are a few shots from the camera, judge for yourself:
    Connectivity
The iMAN i3 isn’t designed to be flagship phone, however it does have all the connectivity options you would expect from a 3G device. There is Wi-Fi ( 802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, 2G GSM and 3G. The device is dual SIM and supports 3G on 900 and 2100MHz. This means that the 3G won’t work in the USA, however standard GSM calls should work. 2100 Mhz is the most common 3G frequency and should work in most places around the world, however a lot of carriers also use a secondary 3G frequency range. In Asia and South America this is often 850MHz, but in Europe it tends to be 900MHz. This means that this device offers European users better connectivity than many other Chinese devices which often support 850/2100 rather than 900/2100.
You need to check with your carrier to ensure compatibility or if you trust Wikipedia then this UMTS networks page could have the information you need.
    Software
The phone runs Android 4.2.2. The launcher has been customized to include stylized icons that match the rugged design of the phone. All the icons appear in metal boxes, even non-system apps that are installed from the Play Store. Since Google Play is pre-installed there is full access to all of Google’s apps including Gmail, YouTube and Google Keyboard etc.
    iMAN i3 software
    Pricing and conclusion
If you spend a lot of time outdoors, either for work or pleasure, then the iMAN i3 could be just the phone you need. Although the specifications aren’t high, the device has more than enough processing power for every day usage, but the real charm is its rugged design. Water, mud, sand, I tried them all and basically the phone survived its mistreatment. As for the price, the iMAN i3 starts at $337 and you can get one from Chinavasion.

    Elephone

    Elephone’s Bezel-Less S3 Handset Coming Next Month

Elephone is not exactly a big company, but this China-based smartphone manufacturer is trying to win over consumers with great design and affordable prices. Elephone has introduced a number of interesting devices in the last couple of months, like the Elephone Vowney, and their P9000 line of devices. Now, the Elephone P9000 Edge is arguably the most interesting P9000 devices, mainly because of its design. This device sports no bezel on the sides, while it is quite sleek-looking in general, though it is not available for purchase just yet.
Speaking of bezel-less design, we’ve already talked about yet another such Elephone-branded devices, the Elephone S3. Well, we no have more info regarding this phone, courtesy of our source at the company. We now know that the Elephone S3 will be launched next month, even though the exact date is still unknown. This handset will feature a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, and will pack in a 2,100mAh battery which supports Quick Charging. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of this phone, below the 13-megapixel main camera.
As already mentioned, the Elephone S3 will be released next month, and the device is going to be available in Silver, Rose Gold, Grey and Gold color options. The company has already released the promo video for this smartphone, so if you’re interested in checking that out, you can take a look at the embedded clip down below. This video actually reveals some additional design choices, as well as some additional features, like the LED notification light for example, which is also included in this package. That is pretty much it, the Elephone S3 will be released soon, and yet we still don’t know when will P9000 Edge going to be available, and it seems like quite a few people are interested in buying that particular phone. Either way, we’ll let you know if the company releases any more info regarding that handset, so stay tuned.

Stop paying for big brand overhead; Buy an unlocked phone online (Elephone)

I’m currently in the review process for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and it is undoubtedly the most attractive phone I’ve ever seen in person. It’s also about $800. That kind of money used to be what you’d pay for a model with upgraded memory or some kind perks. Now, Samsung appears to be making it the new normal.
First, lets get a couple facts out of the way. The Samsung Galaxy S7 retails for $669 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes in at $779 at my carrier of choice, T-Mobile. That breaks down to $27.92 a month with zero up front for the vanilla Galaxy S7, and $30 a month with a $59.99 down payment for the curvaceous S7 Edge. Add in tax (~7% here in Ohio) and you’re well over $700 or $800 for your phone of choice. That’s a lot of money.
I think it’s time we stopped putting up with this.
These phones are marvels of technology for sure. But, at $800 you have to ask yourself what you’re really buying. Through bulk rate buying, Samsung can get the component cost down to about $255 for the Galaxy S7.  Add in other overhead like advertising, manufacturing and human costs,  et. al, and you have a recipe for one of the most expensive phones out there.
Samsung spent $45 million advertising the Samsung Galaxy S6. Forty. Five. Million. Dollars. For a phone that wasn’t that good.
    I’m sorry, flagships. I just can’t anymore.
    Alternatives
I love phones. I never seem to get burned out on them, no matter how many times I’ve switched. And I’ve switched a lot. I love experiencing what a new phone has to offer. I love seeing a company’s vision for what the mobile space should look like. I just love phones.
Browsing through Gearbest’s listings shows me that I don’t have to wait two years between new experiences. I don’t have to spend $800 to get a well built phone with great specs. Here are some of my favorites currently on Gearbest for literally half (or less) of a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

    Elephone P8000 packs a 4,200 cell and 3GB of RAM for $210

Elephone is among the emerging Chinese manufacturers that aims to make a name for itself by offering affordable, yet well-equipped smartphones. The upcoming P8000 is one such example and it offers plenty of bang for the buck.

The smartphone's chief claim to fame is its worldwide LTE support, a rarity with less prominent Chinese offerings. The functionality is delivered by Mediatek's MT6753 chipset, announced a few months ago. It is basically an underclocked version of the more popular MT6752, and the octa-core processor within it ticks at 1.5GHz.
Much like the P7000 which it doesn't replace, but rather complements, the P8000 is built around a 1080p 5.5-inch display. Elephone has fitted the P8000 with 3GB of RAM, though internal storage is less impressive at 16GB. A microSD slot hasn't been quoted by the source, but the P7000 has it, and we expect the P8000 to come with one as well.
      Elephone P8000
It doesn't stop there and the Elephone P8000 packs an ample 4,200mAh battery. A 13MP main camera, joined by a 5MP selfie shooter takes care of capturing memories, and a fingerprint sensor on the back is another welcome tick on the specsheet.
The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop upon launch, but the best part is that according to the source, all of the above will set you back a mere $210.
